Our goal

Spatial transcriptomics is a combination of gene expression profiling and morphological characterization of tissues. It is a study that allows the identification of cells and the processes within them based on their expression profile with the simultaneous ability to localize these profiles in the spatial structure of the tissue.

Such method makes it possible to study processes taking place in the tissue space. Moreover, it allows analysis of individual cell subpopulations in said tissue space under the influence of external factors, such as drugs or toxins. Lastly, it unlocks new possibilities of studying effects of disease on individual tissue elements and study of heterogeneity in cancerous tumors, a factor known for hindering further research.

As a certified service provider of the Visium platform, the only one in Central and Eastern Europe with the Certified Service Provider (CSP) title, we offer a comprehensive process for spatial transcriptomics projects including: Tissue preparation and evaluation; Sectioning of fresh-frozen (FF), fixed frozen (FxF) or paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissues; Performing Visium Spatial Tissue Optimization protocol to determine optimal conditions for each tissue; Performing of the selected Visium protocol (Spatial Gene Expression, HD Spatial Gene Expression, CytAssist), including sequencing; and Data visualization and analysis using Space Ranger.

Offer

Innovative Medical Center performs spatial transcriptomics services on behalf of contractors. They take place on the basis of a contract between Innovative Medical Center and the interested party. Due to the complexity of the process, the final price is determined individually based on the approximate prices listed below.

The final price depends on the selected stages of analysis, the number of samples, and the selected Visium assay. Below, we present a comprehensive summary of approximate prices (gross in PLN) for all elements of the process (stages 1-6) depending on the number of samples and the chosen assay. In the case of delivering a single sample to the laboratory, the waiting time for analysis may be extended.
